What a Waste!

Have you ever purchased a product & weeks later you have totally regretted  it. I go by what a lot of beauty gurus recommend and I'd say 3 out of 5 I'm a bit disappointed by the product. I am not saying that they are wrong but it's just not the products for me. So here are a few that didn't work out for me:

3. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle: Retail Price $2.99- $5.99
It's suppose to be a good deep conditioner that you keep on for 3 minutes and see results instantly.
I disagree with all it promises. Since as long as I can remember Aussie products have had this distinctive smell that I can't move past... It's like dying plants and plastic. That smell is still alive & well with this product. It left my hair feeling gummy & stiff at the same time. It was a pain to comb through my hair and again there was that smell that lingered for days. Seriously I give this product zero stars.

2. L'Oreal Infallible Foundation: Retail Price $13.99- $16.99
L'Oreal's Infallible foundation promises 16 hour wear never fail make up with an SPF of 18. I regret this product because it has medium coverage and I don't think it is buildable at all.... Unless you like your makeup to look caked on. It dries fast & almost to a clay consistency. I didn't appreciate a foundation that made me feel as if I was wearing a mud mask. After 3 hours of wear I saw my little face enemies popping through the foundation. The red around my nose became almost highlighted & my t-zone was atrocious. This was another big fail for me.

and my last fail for the day is

1. Starlooks Gem Eye Pencils: Retail Price $14.00
.

I have this liner in both Amethyst which is a pinkish lilac color & also in Topaz. Though I am a huge fan of Starlooks I think that this product was a fail. I felt like there wasn't enough thought put into this specific line of pencils. I must say the creamy glide on formula is awesome but it is not at all waterproof or smudge proof. On the website they don't claim to be either if the two but I would think this product was tested out before. If it was tested out before they would've noticed that the fine glitter smudges almost instantly after applying it. I was super exited to try this out when it was sent to me. At first I was in awe of how it looked. Perfect for a girls night out look. After a few minutes I looked in the mirror and I was horrified I looked like a Twilight vampire.... glittery all over. Somehow it managed to melt & spread all over my face. After that I wasn't so impressed. This is definitely a product that I won't be repurchasing.
